I remember the day we moved away,

The day loneliness came my way,

Feeling hopeless,

Sometimes homeless,

I even felt myself going astray

With heavy hearts we parted our ways

Like in a room with no windows I saw the days

Come and go as they please and yet I feel nothing within

Perched in a corner

As tears trickled down

With nowhere to wander I still had a frown

I try so hard to smile

No matter how much it hurts

Although I’ve gone the extra mile

The loneliness still burns

I’ll give god all my trust

Cause being lonely is the worst.
